My dog decided it was spring
His long white hair dusted the carpet
It snowed inside
Mother Nature decided it was winter
Snowflakes danced and swirled
It snowed outside
First a 90 minute delay
Then a cancellation
In my sweatpants I’ll stay.

I love this poem and the spring and winter comparisons! We had our first really spring-like day today, with sunshine and everything, and it was really hard to keep from planting all kinds of spring flowers and vegetables. I kept telling my son (and myself), “It is too early still…be patient.”
